Bracciano – Padre Pio Hospital hiring freeze waiver, Sala: "Positive news."
"It's the good news we've been waiting for.". Thus the mayor of Bracciano Giuliano Sala comments on the signing of the Decree of the Lazio Region's Commissioner ad acta for Health n. 303 of July 2, 2015, which, among other things, authorizes the Asl Rm/F to hire 2 Medical Executives of General Surgery, 2 Medical Executives of Orthopedics and Traumatology, 1 Medical Executive of Anesthesia and Resuscitation for the Padre Pio Hospital in Bracciano, as an exception to the freeze on the turn over of full-time, permanent health personnel.
"After decree no. 00197/2015 that dismissed the hypothesis of reconversion/closure of the hospital – Sala adds – the new measure confirms the will to relaunch the structure at all institutional levels. The Municipality of Bracciano, which in recent years has fought in all venues for the maintenance of the hospital and for a rationalization of services, appreciating the acceptance of our requests in terms of strengthening medical and health personnel that the latest decree authorizes, is always careful in supporting actions aimed at guaranteeing the right to health in the territory. With this in mind, also in my capacity as referent of the mayors of District F3 within the conference of mayors of the Asl Rm/F, it will now be important to reevaluate the indications of the corporate pact in light of the positive news that in recent weeks has affected the Padre Pio hospital in Bracciano".
